Beginner Sock Knitting Class
Easy Peasy Socks for First-Timers by Stacey Trock
Saturdays, April 11 & 25 | 10 AM–12 PM
Instructor: Dana | $45 (materials included)
Ready to knit your very first pair of socks? Join us for this beginner-friendly class using the Easy Peasy Socks for First-Timers pattern by Stacey Trock. Dana will guide you step-by-step through the process—from the cuff all the way to the toe—using worsted weight yarn so it’s easy to see your stitches and understand how a sock comes together.
Socks may seem intimidating, but once you understand the construction they’re surprisingly simple—and completely addictive! There’s nothing quite like turning your first heel and realizing you’re truly making a sock.
In this class you’ll learn:
-
How decreases shape a sock
-
Heel construction and turning the heel
-
Kitchener stitch to finish the toe
This class is perfect for knitters who are comfortable with knit and purl stitches and already confident knitting in the round, and who are ready to build new skills.
Join us for two relaxed Saturday mornings of learning, yarn, and encouragement. By the end, you’ll have the skills to finish your first pair of socks—and the confidence to knit many more.
Please note: This is a two-session class, and skills build from week one to week two.
Materials are included.
